"Why Stanley went to Camp Green Lake"

"He went to Camp Green Lake because he stole the sneakers."

"Stanley is sent to Camp Green Lake because he stole the sneakers."

"Holes"

So, this year, Ms. Flora's class is reading the story "Holes," by Louis Sachar. It is a book mostly about a boy named Stanley Yelnats, a big, lonely, often bullied kid who through a series of unfortunate events winds up at Camp Green Lake-- a juvenile detention center that is not a camp, nor green and there is certainly no sign of there ever being a lake.
